ExpoAgro Barro Alto: farm show, rodeo and concerts

ExpoAgro is the agribusiness festival of Barro Alto — a municipality that, according to IBGE (Brazil’s national statistics institute), was in 2025 the largest natural rubber (latex) producer in Goiás and has a herd of about 45,000 cattle. See agribusiness in Barro Alto.

The 5th edition (2026)

According to a report by the regional newspaper Correio do Povo:

• dates: 17 to 19 September 2026;
• venue: Barro Alto Fairgrounds (Parque de Exposições), renovated by the City Hall;
• free entry;
• attractions: bull riding, sertanejo (Brazilian country music) concerts and DJs;
• the edition marked the return of the event after several years without it taking place, as part of the municipal administration’s plan to bring ExpoAgro back to the town’s calendar.

What it usually features

Farm shows in inland Goiás generally feature rodeo, concerts, a food court, a funfair and space for exhibitors from the sector. Check each edition’s programme in the official announcements — this guide does not anticipate attractions.

Next edition

Date to be confirmed. ExpoAgro Barro Alto is not listed in the 2026 state agribusiness events calendar of the Goiás Department of Agriculture. When the City Hall or the organisers announce the next edition, it will be added to the events calendar.

• Climate: September is the end of the dry season, hot with dry air. Bring water, a hat and sunscreen.
